new directions

I'll sort things out properly one day, but I've been preparing to leave what has become home now. Goodness knows when I actually will leave, but I must operate forever on the assumption that it'll be tomorrow rather than the continual 'next month' that its been for a while now.

In preparation, therefore, and whilst avoiding work, I wrote the first piece of my new blog. It will have a different focus, but still is likely to be updated as infrequently as this was.
